Given the shortage of SQL Server (SS) resources in the field, the client is looking at eTeam to train resources and deploy them on their projects immediately. In the last months itself eTeam has deployed over six (6) SSIS/SSAS/SS DBA’s on projects.

Our client located near Rochester, New York,currently seeks a MAINTENANCE ENGINEER for DIRECT-HIRE.

Working as a member of an experienced project team including employees and outside consultants to assess current plant performance and implement new work practices. Typically leading one or two work streams in area such as production, maintenance, reliability, supply chain and organizational effectiveness.

Analyze data on plant performance in order to draw conclusion on improvement opportunities. This includes the ability to sort through voluminous material and extract pertinent information. This also requires extensive interactions with site personnel in order to understand plant culture and dynamics while gaining their support for improvement opportunities.

Develop and implement work methods and techniques for improving performance; including implementation of existing protocols and developing new procedures where appropriate.

Work controversial findings, issues, or problems with site personnel in order to ensure successful implementation.

Develop an effective method to manage and implement the changes introduced by the assessment process.

Establishes work/development plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel to ensure success taking into account the current plant culture and readiness to change.

Confers with site team to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority in order to drive project completion to required milestones, including frequent reporting of project status via formal computer project management software.

Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required for overall effectiveness and compliance to negotiated objectives.

Documents work streams in order to be leveraged at other sites/businesses.

Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
